Overall: Recommended!This is such an adorable addition to a book nook, and at a fair price! The size and design are accurate to the product photos, and it casts enough light to be a nightlight (though I’m still waiting to see how long the battery lasts).It’s hefty enough that it won’t fall super easily, though it would never survive an ambitious cat.One minor complaint is that mine had some black marks on the body, but they were easily wiped away with a damp cloth.

I love this item. It was available while I was looking for emergency lighting that I can keep out in the open such as candles and battery operated nightlights. But this is really a very pretty piece that you can place on and end table or coffee table. So it’s pretty, but it can function as emergency lighting for power outs. It’s a very budget-friendly option for gifting. It already comes with a battery. You just have to pull the contact blocker out. You can see in my video that it lights up well. It’s not overly heavy but does have enough weight to say serve as a paper weight to give you an idea. It’s just the right size to not overwhelm the rest of your decor. What you can’t see from my videos or pictures, is the lighting is not super bright. You can still see the features of the flowers and butterfly.

This is adorable sitting on my book shelves! I chose not to turn the light on because I like the minimalistic look. It's small enough to fit anywhere and light enough not to damage your books!

I am an avid reader, so this attractive little night light really appealed to me. It is small, but the lights are bright. It shows up well on my dresser with my flameless candles. I like to turn it on when it gets dark so I can enter the room without having to turn on all the other lights. I wish it had a timer like my candles, but I can live with turning it on and off manually. The compartment on the bottom that holds the three button batteries is easy to access and the batteries are easy to replace. All in all, this is a nice and effective night light.
